Nemo

I just wanted to post a little update since it has been so long.
Landon's favorite movie is Finding Nemo. We have watched it several times over the past few weeks. When he first wakes up in the morning he says "fishies" and points to the television. That is all he ever wants to do.

So the other night he woke up at like 1:30 just crying. I couldn't get him calmed down and so Jared tried. He just kept crying and pointing to the door of his room. So Jare put him down on the floor and let him show us what he wanted.
Yep! You guessed it, he walked right into the Living room, pointed to the television, and said "fishies". Oh my! no way! We are not watching Nemo at 1:30 in the morning! Needless to say, he was not happy when he found that out.

This has happened twice now. Hopefully we have broken the habbit of watching Nemo everyday because this week we have been playing outside more and not watching Nemo. I certainally hope this helps with the desire to watch it at 1:30 in the morning!

That is so funny! Ella did that a couple of times when we rented an Elmo movie from the library. You can imagine her disappointment when we had to return it!

Cute. You need to take him tothe aquarium so he can see the real Nemo.
Sarah had a huge thing for Barney when she was that age! We looked all over the valley (back then Barney was in his prime) to find a stuffed one to have her hold when she would go to sleep at night. I don't how many times Peter and I sang the I Love You song to her at 2 in the morning.

Brandee that is so cute. Jayden had the same deal with the movie Cars. He slept with a toy lightning Mcqueen, ate with the toy, took a bath and then had to watch the movie 20 times a day. We even had the soundtrack in the car. If the radio came on with Rascal Flatts life is a highway Jayden would yell cars. Luckily he is not so into it anymore. He still has lightning Mcqueen everything but he is starting to get into Spider-man and Batman. Plus now that he is older he understands that if he puts his toys down he can get them back when he is done eating. They are so much fun seeing the phases they go thru. Cute!!!!

Millie has never seen "Finding Nemo" even though she has a couple Nemo toys. Perhaps subconsciously I know the same thing would happen...
